Sam Prattey

Teacher | Slow Flow 8.30am Tuesdays, Vinyasa 5.30pm & Slow Flow with Nidra 6.30pm Wednesdays
Sam first discovered yoga at 15, leafing through one of her mum’s old yoga books. She began practising hatha yoga after school and still remembers the first time she experienced the profound stillness of savasana.
Her practice is rooted in the fundamentals of ashtanga vinyasa, though in recent years she's been drawn towards a softer, more intuitive approach through her studies in women’s yoga therapy and yoga nidra.
Sam’s intention is for students to leave each class feeling grounded, nourished and reconnected with the wisdom of their bodies. Whether through an energising vinyasa flow or the blissful stillness of yoga nidra, she invites students to approach their practice as an opportunity to honour the body and cultivate a deeper sense of inner listening, embracing moments of both softness and challenge.
Her sequencing is joyful, intuitive and unhurried, weaving together meditation, mudra, mantra, asana, pranayama and elements of yoga philosophy. Each session offers space to move, explore and soften, encouraging students to meet themselves exactly where they are.
