Zeynep Yildiz

Teacher

Zey’s journey into yoga began through Yin. She was first introduced to yoga through the stillness and introspection of the Yin practice.

She eventually took the leap into teacher training with Kai Yoga, where she was introduced to Vinyasa, Sanskrit, yoga philosophy and a whole new way of understanding movement, the body and herself. She went into her training curious about the practice and the philosophy behind it, but after her retreat, she knew she wanted to teach and share what had become medicine for her.

Since then, yoga has been truly life changing for Zey. Her teaching background has naturally woven into the way she teaches yoga. She loves learning, sharing and creating spaces where people can connect with something meaningful. She especially enjoys bringing philosophy into her classes in a way that feels accessible and relevant to everyday life.

For Zey, yoga is about coming back to centre. In a world where we are constantly stimulated and pulled in different directions, her classes are an invitation to slow down, listen to the body and reconnect with ourselves. She encourages people to move beyond the noise of the mind, find their feet, feel what is present, and reconnect with the earth and their own bodies.

Zey Movement grew organically from that intention. It is a space where movement, presence, philosophy and connection come together. Creating Zey Movement has allowed her to express what yoga has given her and offer that experience back to others in her own way.

Being part of Flow Collective has opened another beautiful chapter for Zey. It has given her the opportunity to connect with the community, meet inspiring people and build genuine relationships along the way.

Zey brings her own experiences, emotions and lessons into her teaching, creating a sense of connection between herself and her students. She hopes that, together, they can move through this journey of yoga, movement and self-discovery side by side.
