Since completing her initial yoga teacher training back in 2010 in Sydney, Ilana has been fortunate enough to have studied under the guidance of some renowned international and local teachers such as Rod Stryker, Maty Ezraty, Tara Judelle, Noelle Connolly & Mel McLaughlin all of which are a great inspiration and influence in her style of teaching today.
Ilana has been teaching Yoga full time since 2014. Born and bred on the east coast of Sydney, she moved with her family to Wollongong at the end of 2019. Being a mum of two young boys Ilana understands what it’s like to live life a little chaotically and how important it is for us who tend to live in a perpetual state of busyness, to slow down. Not only falling in love with the physical benefits of Yoga, Ilana knows how the practise of Yoga can bring more clarity, peace and balance into everyday life.
Ilana creates purposeful flow sequences which are slow and strong, weaving inspired movement with sprinkles of yoga philosophy. Ilana believes it’s important to tend and care for our physical bodies as well as taking care of our minds and our spirits.
Ilana classes are designed so students feel supported and empowered, to have fun whilst still being challenged. They often incorporate music, theming and props to help guide you toward a full transformative and healing experience.
You can book into one of Ilana's classes with Flow Collective Yoga in Wollongong at Bulli Surf Club on Mondays & Wednesdays 9:30am
